Fresh off the digital presses: my new collection of fabric from Spoonflower… Big Dots!
This collection is based on a hand-drawn circle, to give a unique “artsy” character to the dots. The fabrics are available in a variety of colorways and scales (shown below). They’d make great accents for garments, or linings in cotton-silk or cotton sateen, tablecloths, placemats and napkins in cotton poplin or sateen. The cotton knit would make a great bag or t-shirt, too.
Also available as a cut-n-sew pattern to make seven adjustable bow ties (adult size). Depending on how you tie it, you’ll get four looks out of each tie (dots in front, stripes in front, and contrast knot or matching knot). You can also mix-n-match the front and back of the tie when you sew it together for an even greater variety. For step-by-step sewing instructions, refer to this post.
The original color-way of this pattern (with the dark blue background) is also available on a whole bunch of products in my Zazzle shop, including cards, invitations, envelopes, binders and more.
